Another Invitation -- Otra invitación

Tengo el agrado de invitarlos a la presentación del libro El Gran Capitán de la escritora argentina Valeria Zurano el día Martes 22 de Enero 2008 en Almirante Simpson 7 . Este evento se realizará en la Sociedad de Escritores de Chile y estará a cargo de importantes narradores chilenos. He tenido la fortuna de ser invitada a participar en dicha presentación. Nos vemos con buena literatura la próxima semana.

I have the pleasure to invite you to the presentation of the book El Gran Capitán from Valeria Zurano on Tuesday 22nd of January at 7pm at the writer's society. I will be part of the presentation so just show up and share with me good argentinean literature and nice chilean wine.

Hi, I am pleased to inform you that there will be a public reading on January 22nd at Parque Forestal at 7 in the evening. I'll have the oportunity to share with you a nice time full of short stories and writers. I'll be expecting you to show up and it's free!

Summer In Santiago

In summer we have very many cultural activities. I want to inform you about the book fair in Parque Forestal that will take place from the 15th until the 25th of January. Over there you will find cheap and good books in a nice green atmosphere. Regards theater there is an event called Teatro a Mil, that is whatever play you would like to attend will cost you just 1.000 pesos chilenos. Now, if you want to have a nice cheap beer you definetly have to go to Bellavista to a place called La Nona ( a normal beer should cost not more than 1.500 pesos chilenos). Well, after this tips, soon I will let you know when I am reading over Parque Forestal.

I also want to invite you all to the Book Fair that takes place in Parque Forestal on January 8th. I will be expecting you to show up and have the opportunity of sharing some of my new short stories among other chilean writers. See you soon.

Spanish Classes

Before I start telling you my short stories I wanted to share with you not to forget about my Spanish classes that you will enjoy besides I'll give you a different view of my city and you'll be able to meet other poets and chilean artists.

Lo verdadero permanece

Pasa, todo pasa, sólo permanece lo verdadero, aquello que ha de ser y no tiene un doble sentido porque entonces la tristeza devela su cara y todo se transforma en dolor y pérdida. Bueno todo ésto me ocurrió con Spanglish Cafe por lo que ya no estoy más vinculada y dedicaré mi blog a la literatura y a contarles buenos cuentos. La gruta del duende será próximamente publicado aquí.

Tanto tiempo!!

No hay nada más hermoso que la primavera con sus colores y aromas. Santiago se viste de cultura este mes ya que comienza la Feria del Libro y el Congreso de Escritores Americanos realizado por la SECH. Los espero en ambos eventos por lo que no dejen de visitarme y los pondré al dia.
